Terms and Conditions

By engaging the services of Di Bella Cleaning Services, visiting our website, or interacting with our social media platforms, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. These terms are designed to ensure transparency, fairness, and a positive experience for all parties.
1. Engagement & Contract
By booking or receiving services from Di Bella Cleaning Services, the Client enters into a service agreement subject to these Terms & Conditions. Any additional terms agreed in writing will form part of the contract.
2. Our Team & Employment Standards
Di Bella Cleaning Services ensures all team members:

Have the legal right to work in Australia
-
Provide proof of identity and address
-
Hold current Police Checks and Working With Children Checks (WWCC), where required
-
Complete internal training in Di Bella Cleaning Services systems and standards
If a regular cleaner is unavailable due to illness or unforeseen circumstances, we will make every reasonable effort to provide a suitable replacement and will notify the Client accordingly.
3. Operating Hours
Our standard operating hours are:
-
Monday to Friday: 8:00am – 5:00pm
Our team arrives fully equipped with professional cleaning products and equipment. Any specific product preferences must be supplied by the Client unless otherwise agreed.
4. Pricing, Invoicing & Late Fees
Invoices are payable within 72 hours (3 days) of the invoice date.
If payment is not received:

A reminder will be issued
-
A further 7-day grace period will apply
-
Late fees and/or interest of 10% per annum may be charged
Any costs incurred in recovering outstanding payments, including administrative, debt collection, legal, or court costs, will be the responsibility of the Client.
5. Cancellation Policy
Scheduled / One-Off Services
-
A minimum of 2 business days’ notice is required
-
Less than 2 business days’ notice: 50% of the service fee
-
Less than 1 business day’s notice: 100% of the service fee
Ongoing Services
-
A minimum of 7 days’ written notice is required
-
Failure to provide sufficient notice will result in a 50% charge for services scheduled within the following 7 days
Cancellation fees apply as Di Bella Cleaning Services is committed to paying team members in accordance with the Australian Cleaning Services Award.
6. Rescheduling & Exemptions
If a Client needs to reschedule:

A suitable alternative time within the same calendar week may be offered

If rescheduled and later cancelled, standard cancellation fees apply
Cancellation fees may be waived in the case of a genuine health emergency. Supporting documentation may be requested.
7. Satisfaction Guarantee
If the Client is dissatisfied with the service, this must be reported within 12 hours of completion.
Di Bella Cleaning Services will:

Review the concern against the agreed scope of work

Request supporting photos where appropriate
-
Arrange a return visit to rectify the issue if required
This guarantee applies only to the originally agreed scope of work.
8. Insurance
Di Bella Cleaning Services holds current:
-
Public Liability Insurance
-
Employer’s Liability Insurance
Certificates of Currency are available upon written request.
9. Damages & Wear and Tear
Normal “wear and tear” includes natural deterioration from everyday use, such as:
-
Minor scuff marks
-
Fading or slight discolouration
-
Surface scratches consistent with use
Wear and tear is not considered damage, and Di Bella Cleaning Services is not responsible for repair or replacement of items affected by normal wear and tear.
If accidental damage occurs and is deemed our responsibility, reasonable efforts will be made to repair or replace the item in accordance with insurance coverage.
10. Non-Solicitation of Staff
The Client agrees not to directly or indirectly employ or engage any cleaner introduced by Di Bella Cleaning Services for a period of 12 months from:

The date of service cancellation, or
-
The first introduction of the cleaner
(Whichever occurs later.)
11. Property Access
The Client must ensure access is available at the scheduled time.

If access is not provided and no prior notice is given, a 100% lock-out fee applies

If a key is lost by our team, replacement of the key only will be covered
-
We are not responsible for lock replacement
-
No responsibility is accepted for keys left in unsecured locations
12. Safe Working Environment
The Client must ensure the property is safe and disclose any known hazards. Cleaners reserve the right to refuse or cease work if conditions are deemed unsafe.
13. Pets & Animals
All animals must be secured away from cleaning areas.
If unrestrained animals pose a safety risk:

The cleaner may leave the property
-
100% of the service fee will be charged
The Client is responsible for all pets and their behaviour.
14. Height & Equipment Restrictions
Cleaners will not use ladders or work beyond safe heights in accordance with workplace safety guidelines.
15. Specialised or Delicate Items
Specialised cleaning of antiques, valuables, fragile items, or delicate surfaces will only be performed if specifically quoted and agreed in writing.
16. Biohazard Material
Cleaners do not handle vomit, faeces, or other biohazard materials unless biohazard cleaning has been quoted and approved in advance.
17. Photography & Documentation
Before and after photos may be taken for:

Quality assurance
-
Documentation of completed work
-
Existing damage or hazards
Photos are stored securely for internal records only.
18. Agreed Hours & Incidental Costs
Work will be carried out within the agreed hours unless otherwise authorised.
The Client agrees to reimburse any incidental costs arising from failure to meet agreed obligations.
19. Preparing for Your Clean
To achieve the best results, Clients are asked to:

Remove general clutter
-
Place dirty laundry in baskets
-
Secure pets
-
Leave clean linens if bed changes are included
-
Ensure biohazard material is removed unless pre-approved
20. Promotions & Giveaways
Any competitions or giveaways run by Di Bella Cleaning Services are subject to separate Promotions & Giveaway Terms, available on the website or within the relevant promotion.
